City dweller Rachel Knoester made a tree-change from Melbourne to the lush green hills of South Gippsland with her partner as they entered their semi-retirement.  Rachel is a passionate up-cycler, whether it be clothes, furniture or canvases.  Many of her paintings are created over old canvases found in second hand markets.  Rachel’s artworks are inspired by walks in the forest with her dog and the rural views and gardens surrounding her Hallston home.
