Lyn Mellady is a highly regarded artist with a successful career spanning over 30 years as a professional painter; regularly participating in exhibitions, running classes and mentoring students on interstate and overseas workshops.  With art awards accumulating since 1984, her realist/impressionistic works in pastel or oil have a visible sensitivity derived from the keen observation and understanding of her subjects.  Lyn searches for conditions and unique features that imprint the character of an area in her memory.
