Lorraine Evans

Textiles

Lorraine Evans has, for most of her life, enjoyed pursuing artistic expression working in the textile industry.  After a creative childhood, growing up on a farm in country Victoria, Lorri studied Fashion Design and Production at Emily McPherson College, Melbourne.  On graduating, Lorri worked for a couple of fashion boutiques, then on to designing/making costumes for the South Australian Opera Company, Adelaide and the Sydney Opera House.  Starting a family led Lorri to designing and making soft-leather baby shoes; the foundation of Shu Shu footwear.  Lorri enjoys exploring all aspects of textile design; recent works include stunning leather necklaces and her ‘ruffled feathers’ series of wall-art bird sculptures.

Shu Shu baby shoes are made from soft quality leather; easy to wriggle on, they stay in place comfortably, offering protection with minimal restriction to growing feet.  Sizes 0 – 18months.
