Julie Goldspink is well-known for her beautiful watercolours on paper, w/c canvas and Yupo paper; she also works with oil, acrylic, pastel and mixed-media.  A skilled draftsperson, she has always enjoyed drawing; it forms the bones of all her artwork.  Classed as a Realist/Impressionist Julie’s preferred subject matter includes landscapes, seascapes, flowers and still life.  Julie Goldspink uses ‘wet into wet’ application in her stunning free-flowing watercolours.  Traditional techniques are employed when using oils while her acrylic works are an exciting combination of both techniques.  Julie also enjoys mixed-media and collage where she finds the freedom of having no restrictions un-clutters her mind; the outcome is subjective spontaneity, resulting in random forms and expressions.
