Helen Zitkevicius has always possessed the urge to create… “I am easily transported to a place of calm and peace when working on the torch producing a piece of work, drawn to glass by its fluidity and complexity in its heated mode and its beauty and strength when cold and annealed”.  She is captivated by colour and finds inspiration in the natural world and coastal vistas surrounding her Bass Coast studio in Victoria.  She has worked with some of Australia’s most artistic lamp-workers including Peter Minson and Carol Marando.
