Gippsland craftsman Don McLean is a passionate wood-worker who enjoys taking his time to create the most beautiful felt-lined jewellery boxes, including boxes divided into compartments with lift-out trays.

Don crafts his boxes to highlight the individual aesthetic qualities found in various Australian timbers such as: Huon Pine, Tasmanian Tiger Myrtle, Blackwood and Blackheart Sassafras.  A fabulous selection of Don’s fine work is available to view at our gallery store in Yarragon.
