George Chirnside began his love affair with wood whilst in his teens, converting part of the shearing quarters on his family property into a workshop where he would create gifts for family and friends.

George’s passion for wood and attention to detail continues today with his mission to create unique timber sculptural and utilitarian gifts with timeless appeal; all pieces are handcrafted in his workshop on the Bellarine Peninsula Victoria.

These delightful wooden fish are handcrafted from a single piece of Australian Redgum.  In addition to their aesthetic appeal, the fish are extremely tactile; with their moveable body and tail, they ‘wiggle’ with mesmerising life-like movements when handled.
